Research activities: Our research activities involve the development of nanoscale materials for energy and environmental applications. This specifically involves the photocatalysis process, where we develop photocatalytic systems to degrade multi-pollutants, water splitting, N2 fixation, heavy metal reductions. We also involve in developing photocatalytic-membranes for the simultaneous water decontamination and filtration. To achieve such goals, we work on variety of materials such as metal oxides, metal oxynitrides, perovskites, ferroelectric materials, plasmonic materials, carbon based materials, metal-organic frameworks.
