Research activities in our group exploit nanotechnology-based approaches and techniques to engineer the surface of low dimensional materials and nanostructures for multifunctional applications (nano bio- electronic devices, energy, and smart buildings).
Special focus is given to the development of: (i) novel synthesis routes for nano-engineered materials using state-of-the-art deposition techniques for industrial, and micro- nano fabrication of prototype nano-devices; (ii) large-scale production of graphene-based smart materials and other 2D crystals (hBN, Silicine, phosphine, and TMDs) for commercial and practical applications such as wearable electronics, optoelectronic, and solar cells. |
