Research Interests
Dr Dinesh Reddy’s research work mainly focuses on the development of new methods and strategies for the synthesis of small-bioactive organic molecules and metal complexes for therapeutic applications. A major thrust of his current research is the design and invention of new annulation strategies for the synthesis of new lead drug candidates, with the aim of societal desire to improve chemotherapeutic efficacy and the economic pressure confronting the pharmaceutical industries. It strongly depends upon an effective collaboration between synthetic organic and inorganic chemistry, medicinal chemistry, computational chemistry and pharmacological research laboratories to fulfil the goal of drug discovery. |
