Currently the research focus is on designing ordered nano-porous membranes & functional nano-materials for water treatment applications.

Nataraj* presented oral presentation entitled “ Preparation of water filter membranes from used cigarette butts” in an international conference on Accelerating Innovations in Material Science (AIMS-2020) held by BMS Institute of Technology and Management on 4th - 7th August.
3. Glenita Bridget D’Souza attended 2nd National Seminar on Frontiers in Materials and Chemical Sciences (NSFMC 2020) from 31st August to 4th September, 2020 organized by Centre for Nano and Material Sciences, JAIN (Deemed-to-be University), Bengaluru, India.
