Nanostructured Thin Film Photovoltaics
Research is conducted on methods to develop nanostructured thin films with improved and electrical and electro-optical properties. The project focuses on cost effective and efficient materials for highly durable solar calls.
Research is also conducted on Polymer-fullerene transparent thin film towards solar device fabrication process (The device having V-trap geometric configuration, that angle strips of solar cells towards each other, forming V-shaped groves. In this configuration the reflected light can bounce back & forth between neighboring cells multiple times, increasing the amount of light absorbed with each bounce).
The Centre also focusses on innovative product development in photovoltaics and storage devices using nanomaterials (Eample. Qdot-conjugated polymer complexes)
